Education+ Environmental conservation

OBJECTIVE

the main needs they have identified and would like to address are:

• To motivate/help the children to improve the conversational English

• To help the villagers clean the village and strengthen the awareness of healthy hygene

•   Education and cultural exchange, where the institutions would like to promote the local culture and share others while educating students and giving them the opportunity to gain skills and competences.

DESCRIPTION

We work very close with the local community so we always combine the different work in one camp to achieve the most for the need of the community. Our projects are:

- The volunteers will work at different schools to help the students with conversational English, to play games in English, which will be the best way to motivate the children to learn English. We can also have camps in our centers during school holidays. (from mid of Jan. to the end of Feb. and from mid of July to the end of Aug.)

- The volunteer will work in the village/town for cleaning project, which is aim to strengthen awareness of keeping cleaning.

- The volunteer will work along Li-river to clean the riverside.

LOCATION

YangshuoCounty, is 84km from Guilin City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, South of China. It is renowned for the beautiful nature, the excellent combination of the Orient and the West culture, and the hospitality of the lovely and warm people.
